Goal 1: Help children develop empathy • I think this is important because once a child knows how someone else feels it makes it easier for them to express their own family. This helps children know how to respond to how someone feels because they may be able to relate. This also helps children build a sense of security and stronger relationship with other people. Most importantly this encourage tolerance and acceptance of other people. Teaching empathy can reduce the likelihood of bullying.
